Pass the tape around the fullest part of your chest.WAIST:
Ladies don't suck in your stomach. Breathe naturally and measure right around your waist.HIP:
Measure the fullest part of your hips.SHOULDER:
One apex of shoulder right across your neck to the otherSLEEVE:
Bend your elbows slightly and measure from where you ended at the apex and straight down to your desired sleeve lengthARMHOLE:
Measure right around your elbow but bend and unbend the elbow passing the tape measure in a comfortable loop so that you are sure your garment can be slipped through the armWRIST:
Same as armhole
KAMEEZ OR KURTA LENGTH:
Measure from the apex of the shoulder straight down to the desired lengthThese measurements can be used as a guide for custom made outfits but can also help when selecting the ready made garments. It should be noted that most of the pants for the Shalwar Kameez have draw strings and therefore fit in most cases but you should also check hip measurements to make sure.

ReplyDeletemeasurements are so helpful for clothing that can be quite pricey.
ReplyDeletePalazzos are therefore in vogue and they definitely are a trendy Indian office wear option. If salwars aren't producing the cut you and you are searching for something more trendy and in trend, then you can certainly elect for Palazzos and cigarette trousers. Team it up, with a nice long, solid kurti and you are good to rock the cube.
