The video below gives a demonstration of how to tie a sari:
Do you know a different way?
<script>
(function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){
(i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)
})(window,document,'script','//www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','ga');
ga('create', 'UA-56576810-1', 'auto');
ga('send', 'pageview');
</script>
I enjoyed that. The instructions were very simple, but I would definitely have to get someone to help me wrap it. Thank you Maryam.
ReplyDeleteThere is another way to wrap the sari, where the remaining material is draped to the front. This method gives a very different appearance from the same sari.
ReplyDeleteonce draped properly its very pretty to look at
ReplyDeleteVery informative. I actually think I can do this now.
ReplyDeleteThis is very interesting. Indian wear especially saris are very elegant and classy. Although the initial outlay may be pricey its a good investment. Saris can be worn for both formal and informal occasions and can be enhanced with beautiful accessories. I prefer the cotton ones.
